Juana Molina @ Crawdaddy

In a well filled Crawdaddy Juana Molina, the former Argentinian soap star gone underground, gave a great performance of her eclectic introvert acoustic electro music where she proves to be a mistress of the pedal loops. A very interesting music night of someone who just does what she wants and therefore sounds like no one else. Bravo.

Halloween music night in Cafe Bruxelles

What do you get when you cross a singer-songwriter night with Halloween? Well, simpsons, morning robes and fluffy bears on stage at the Zodiac Sessions in cafe Bruxelles. It was a good night fun, though the audience rather talked about their costumes than listening to the artists on stage.

David Kitt, Whelans 21 Oct

Whelans was home to two David Kitt shows over the weekend due to the popularity and success of his new record 'Not fade away'. The man had a good time on stage and the crowd was enthousiastically singing along or, more appropriate forsome hoody wearing people in the center, screaming some non-sense to the stage. I guess that is what you get if you are a succesful northsider. It is good to see someone doing his own stuff eventhough the record world turned their backs to him a while ago. David miht had lost a battle back then, but now he surely won the war. Posted by Picasa
